T-Mobile is offering a video-on-demand service for mobile and PC. The service, run by platform provider Saffron Digital, will operate on a seven-day rental model.

Techcrunch have reported that the music industry is taking notice of an Iphone App with 1m users that offers free downloads of new songs directly through the app. At the moment the songs have all been submitted to the company by indie artists (impressively, 2.5 million songs have been downloaded so far).

Sony began accepting applications on Thursday for a closed beta test of its PlayStation Home virtual environment.

A report claims Apple plans to introduce an smaller, cheaper ‘iPhone nano’ in time for Christmas 2008.
The Daily Mail claims the new device will retail at up to £150 for pay-as-you-go customers and will be available exclusively from O2 in the UK.
